Matt and Jo were about to start work on a large home extension and had been introduced to Idesign Interiors by their builder who had worked with Louise and Adam on a previous project.
Matt and Jo had very strong ideas about both the kitchen and colour scheme and wanted to maximise the space the new extension would give them by creating a kitchen/living room perfect for the young family to grow with and into.
According to the architect’s plans the original utility room was to make way for the much larger extended kitchen. Matt and Jo were keen to keep a utility area but make it so that all the laundry appliances etc. could be hidden away and made to look like the rest of the kitchen when not in use. Idesign just had to work out how! A tall wall-to-wall ‘bank’ of units was created to conceal the free-standing appliances, adding extra tall storage and even a sink.
Idesign InteriorsAn island was installed to provide plenty of preparation and additional seating for the family. A side step from the island sits another tall bank of units with a small return, fitted with the families cooking appliances, refrigeration and plenty of essential storage.
The result is a fantastic space one for the whole family to enjoy.
‘We are absolutely delighted with the finished article and the service provided. The fitting of the kitchen is of an extremely high standard and credit must go to Adam who was extremely detail focused. Thank you Idesign, it has changed our lives!’
